Meet the MNA Staff

Teresa Malone,
Executive

Teresa Malone is the chief executive officer of the association. She is the liaison with the MNA Board and is responsible for carrying out the goals and objectives of the association, for management of the organization, and for representing the association with other organizations, public officials, the media, and the public.  She is responsible for hiring and managing a staff to carry out the work of the association.
 


LaGina Walker, Executive Assistant

LaGina is the assistant to the Executive Director, she monitors legislative issues that pertain to health affairs and circulates legislative updates, prepares for Board meetings, special events, and assists with other executive functions.  LaGina assists with the management of the office information systems, and is responsible for disseminating new membership packets, membership renewals, and continuing education activities.

Dana Walker, Director of Events and Marketing

Dana is responsible for planning and organizing special events and continuing education activities. She is the point of contact for questions regarding program and workshop schedules, CE contact hours, event registration, or to become a speaker for continuing education programs. She is also responsible for coordinating news releases and media relations. Dana supports the activities of the Council on Nursing Education, the MNA Provider Unit, the Council on Organizational Affairs, and the Council on Nursing Practice.

Deborah Norman, Finance Administrator / Membership Coordinator

Deborah is responsible for all financial transactions including payment for membership dues, special events, and continuing education activities. She is also the Membership Coordinator and is the point of contact for any membership questions, changes, renewals, updates, etc. Deborah also supports the District Presidents with current membership information for each district.

Dionne Inman, Advanced Practice Coordinator / Publishing Coordinator

Dionne is responsible for working with the Director of the Council on Advanced Practice Nursing to support activities relating to Nurse Practitioners. Dionne is editor of the quarterly newspaper―The Mississippi RN and creates the E-newsletter—Members Only.  She also creates the convention & conference preview guides, books, brochures, district emails, and uploads information to the MNA website. Dionne is the site administrator for the Cisco Webex Event Center.
