The Council on Nursing Education shall be concerned with advancing the profession of nursing through activities which relate to:
- Responsibility for nursing education;
- Social, scientific, and educational changes in health needs and practices; and
- Federal and state legislation and government policy in the field of education.
The standing committee of the council shall be the Committee on Continuing Education/Provider Unit . Membership shall consist of members in accordance with criteria of the American Nurses Credentialing Center and come from various geographic locations and practice settings in the state.
